I claim His promises. I shout them over and over again. But the rain still falls. The sun simply doesn’t shine.
Friends comfort. The rain beats down. Some days a trickle. Some days a downpour.
I want to quit, but HE won’t release me. So I sit in the rain.
Sometimes He puts His umbrella over me. Sometimes He lets the rain fall on my face. But His hand is always there. I never walk alone.
This is hope. That even in the rain, my hope endures.
