God’s truths for hurting hearts {free printable}

If you are anything like me, you read great ideas on the internet and file them in that special file.  You know, the one that gets bigger and bigger, but never sees the light of day?

Well, my Big Feelings Resource has sparked a new idea and I’m thrilled to share it with you. But this time, you can do a little more than file it away in the “to do later” pile.  You can print it right now! No need to get out the markers or the scrapbook stickers.

I intend to use this to help my children as they walk through a period of darkness in their lives.  I will print copies for each of my children and post them by their beds.

Having a personal copy will

  • provide instant comfort for those emotions that often crop up around bedtime
  • remind us to pray scripture
  • encourage the memorization of these truths
Print your copy and enjoy meditating on His truths.  I encourage you to share with your friends. You are even free to post on Facebook, pinterest, or any of your favorite social media networks. All I ask is that you link back to this post.
May your family be truly blessed by His Word.

  1. Thanks, Kim.  I am keeping one for me, but I am passing these on to women God has placed in my life who are hurting right now.  Out of the fire comes pure gold.  Thank you.

  3. Thank you so much for these printables, Kim.
    I have passed this on to my Mom, who I know will also pass your link on to others.
    These will be up next to my bed and each of my 3 kids’ beds, right next to another verse which they have now! Thank you, thank you. These little things mean so much. Keep doing what you do!

    is there a way to download all of the “parenting the hurt child” series all at once? I have 3 adopted children with reactive attachment and I need all the help I can get!
    Thank you…

      Hi friend,
      I am working on that. I plan to put the series in an ebook, with quite a bit of additional content and all of the downloads. There was just so much to say that I couldn’t cover it all.
      I’m not sure how fast it will be done, but I am trying! :-) Stay tuned!

    I’m printing them out to share with folks at a class I teach regarding recovery from trauma and addiction. Thanks!
