We start after Labor Day.
We are going to get in a field trip to Texas to visit Gparents, and then start as soon as we get back!

We never really stopped! We will take a break in a few weeks when the new baby invades!
Since this is our first year we started a few weeks ago just doing some workbooks I got at the local Five Below. I wanted to take it slow as this is the first time we’ve really had “structure” like this in our home.
School is always in session around here. Looking forward to a week off in August at the beach. We are in the midst of 3 weeks of 5 days/wk school right now

We didn’t stop for the summer, just slowed down the formal stuff and upped the traveling.

We really haven’t stopped…but we’re be starting new things in September.
Not officially, but definitely counting learning hours already.

Not yet but I am thinking to do it with my toddler. Now, I am doing lots of research on curriculums and materials.

This is really interesting! The higher the kids get up in school, the more I find planning on my end to be so vital. That being said, I’m not naturally organized, so I am always misplacing my paper planners. Bet I wouldn’t lose the laptop, no matter how disorganized I am that day!
I love planning! Can’t wait to see if I like having my plans on the computer
My son is in summer preschool and next month we start our homeschooling.
