    I love to read and my oldest son loves to look at books every night before going to bed. I would love to spark a bigger interest though in him actually reading and not just looking at the pictures and guessing the story based on that.

    I love to read. But in school I preferred math over reading/english. In regards to teaching, I don’t really prefer one over another.

  7. Reading has always been a joy for me, reading out loud a passion. As I explore living books in relationship to math, it’s opening up a new perspective for me on the one subject I dreaded to teach.

  19. I find Language Arts the hardest to plan for!  We love reading, and read a ton here.  However, when it comes time to write, suddenly there is so much resistance!  I need some new ideas to make language arts something fun and exciting, rather than the battle it seems to be now….

  20. Yes!  I LOVE math, especially algebra, but I also LOVE reading….mostly non-fiction.
