our first virtual pinterest party

I remember as a girl days spent sprawled out on granny’s couch with the JC Penny catalog. 500 pages of glory kept me busy for hours. When the new catalog would finally come, she let me clip and save my favorite images. At age 7, a future pinterest junkie was born. It didn’t take long before I was collecting food magazines and parenting magazines and clipping my favorites. Trouble was, where do you keep all of this stuff and how do you find time to organize it?

You can imagine my glee when Pinterest was born. I might have been the 3rd person to sign up for an account. Ok, that’s probably not true, but I totally could have. I love having a place to store ideas until I need them. I love being able to go back into that “Christmas” folder or now pin board and select the best ideas to complete. As a homeschooler and a mom, pinterest actually SAVES me time, energy, and file folders! Ideas, recipes, and lessons are always at my fingertips.

Do you have a love for Pinterest? I am excited to announce my first ever Pinterest Party. I certainly hope this will be the first of many fabulous events!

So what is a virtual Pinterest Party?

It’s simple. Browse through my posts and find some of your favorites to pin. Many of my posts have “pin it” buttons underneath them, but if not, just use the “pin it” button on your browser. You did download that when you signed up for pinterest, right? It’s a lifesaver.

Next, leave a comment in the rafflecopter below and tell me which post you pinned. You can just tell me the name of the post.

Each time you pin a post, leave a new comment and you will be entered to win. Each person can earn as many entries as they wish.  Just keep on pinning.

The prize? A $15 gift card to Target.  Oh yeah… you know there are always prizes at parties, right?

What should you pin?

Pick a post that you love and might use someday. Having trouble deciding? Here are some of the most popular ones to get you started. (The links below are directly to the pins on pinterest)
