  1. Great ideas and information! I’ve been blogging for a few years now, but I’ve considered joining the “time to make money with my writing” bandwagon! I will definitely pray about this! Thank you !!

  2. Thank you for this post. I have two blogs. One I have had since 2011 but I didn’t really do anything with it until after my husband passed away. I am actually in the process of moving it from Blogger to WordPress. I’m taking a bloggers four week class and just got my domain registered with GoDaddy and now I’m moving the blog. That blog is not the home school blog I listed. My home school blog I will be moving next, once I figure out how to pay for it.

I appreciate your honest account on making money with a blog. I freelance write and teach piano, dance and tumbling for a living, though right now I am only writing on mill sites and teaching a handful of piano students. I need to make more money to support my daughter and I. I am also working on my MBA. Reading your blog just reminds me how much I really need to get organized and scheduled so that I can work on these opportunities, home school my daughter and get my own homework done at the same time. Thanks for your honest. It was very helpful.

  3. Love this and your post on How You Make Money blogging. It’s encouraging and inspiring. One of my biggest fears with blogging is the “meanies”. I’ve got a pretty sensitive heart and don’t know how well I will handle the inevitable critical comments. The other thing is doing all the graphic design stuff, like your “buttons” that lead to various blog topics. Do you do that yourself? If so, what tool(s) do you use? And how do you know what works where with your design? I suppose a lot of the organization of your site is stuff you learned from “teachers”?

    1. Hi Nikki,
Comments can be difficult, but you learn to ignore people who can’t say constructive things. 🙂 I don’t do graphics myself. I have an assistant who works on those.

    2. Hi Nikki!

I had the same feelings as you. It was laid on my Spirit to go and study the life of Jesus and how He dealt with those who criticized & were against Him. What better example to learn from than His? This is an assignment God placed on my heart, so I had to ask myself? Am I trying to please people or do I want to please God?

I hope this encouragement helps you to rise above those thoughts & Go in Jesus name in what He has called you to do. ??? Good luck!

  4. Thanks for sharing! I emailed you. And customer service sent this link to me. How did you get your products produced? How did you get your blog out into the world?
