Science Curriculum Writer

Job type: Remote contractor, 35-40 hours per week
Pay: Starts at $20-$22/hr

The Science Curriculum Writer at Not Consumed Ministries plays a vital role in creating engaging, Bible-centered science curriculum that helps homeschool students understand the world around them through the lens of Scripture. This person will develop science content that is scientifically accurate, educationally rich, age-appropriate, and grounded in a biblical worldview, giving families resources they can trust.

This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented writer with a strong background in science, teaching, and curriculum development who can make scientific concepts clear, engaging, and meaningful for homeschool students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience writing homeschool science curriculum or educational science content
  • Strong background in science, with the ability to research and communicate scientific concepts accurately
  • Experience teaching science, homeschooling, or developing educational materials
  • Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to clarity, organization, accuracy, and detail
  • Ability to develop age-appropriate lessons, activities, experiments, and assessments
  • Ability to research scientific topics thoroughly and incorporate accurate information from reliable sources
  • Understanding of how to present science from a biblical worldview while maintaining scientific accuracy
  • Creative ability to make science engaging, hands-on, and relevant to students
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Reliable, self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Passionate about homeschooling, Christian education, and helping families teach science from a biblical perspective

Editor

Job type: Remote contractor, 20-30 hours per week
Pay: $18-$20/hr

The Editor at Not Consumed Ministries plays a vital role in ensuring all Bible and homeschool resources are theologically sound, educationally rich, and polished to the highest editorial standards. This person will refine content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and theological accuracy while upholding the heart and mission of the ministry.

This role is perfect for a meticulous, detail-oriented professional with strong technical editing skills, a solid grasp of theology, and a passion for producing error-free, high-quality educational content for families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional experience with technical editing, proofreading, researching, and style guide adherence
  • Strong knowledge of grammar, clarity, and consistency in written communication
  • Ability to verify Scripture references and ensure theological soundness
  • Familiarity with curriculum, educational resources, or instructional design
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
  • Organized, self-motivated, and reliable in meeting deadlines

Shipping Team Member

Not Consumed is seeking new members of the shipping team for our Greer, South Carolina, warehouse. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

Part-Time/Seasonal

  • This is a entry-level part-time position with typical morning hours of 8:30-12:30 Monday-Friday in our Greer, SC warehouse and occasional afternoons as needed.
  • Responsibilities include helping with shipping, stocking, packaging, and various other duties as needed. Flexible availability is required.
  • Pay range is $8-$11/hr. based on availability.

Full-Time

  • This entry-level position would be from 8:30-4:30, Monday- Friday in our Greer, SC warehouse.
  • Responsibilities include helping with shipping, stocking, packaging, and various other duties as needed.
  • Pay starts at $14/hr.
