Ramona Kurten

Ramona is one of the illustrators here at Not Consumed. She started selling commission artwork as a 12-year-old. First real customer? Her dentist. She immigrated from South Africa at the age of 14 and went on to sell many more commission pieces through the great advertising network of a small-town grapevine. She has shown her work in galleries across the United States and sells her artwork internationally. She has been freelance illustrating for many years and enjoys the challenge of sparking imagination for children across all age ranges.

Ramona and her little girl live in Lincoln, Nebraska, where they enjoy finding the hidden gems nature offers on quiet plains all around them.
