How to Use To Every Nation

You’ve made such a great choice! To Every Nation is an amazing way to inspire and teach kids about our world through the lens of the Great Commission.

Let’s begin with a brief video that shows how I use To Every Nation.

Pro Tips as You Begin To Every Nation

  • Consider marking a wall map or globe with the location of each missionary you study.
  • If a particular country or region interests your kids, do a deep dive into that area to learn more about its history.
  • Encourage older kids to read the stories aloud to younger kids.
  • To make the missionary stories come even more alive, have your kids act out memorable portions of the missionaries’ lives.
  • Once your kids have studied halfway through the list of missionaries, play “guess the missionary” charades.

This study is great for multi-aged learning as it features activities for both elementary and upper grades and can be used in any order, providing flexibility for the whole family! You may use the YWAM Christian Heroes: Then and Now novels as recommended and linked below, or choose any other excellent books about missionaries. We have included daily lesson plans to help guide you either way.

You can also check out our other resources in our blog post “Missionary Books Kids Love“. We made this curriculum stand-alone to use with or without these books, so if one book doesn’t work for your family, you won’t be left behind!
