How To Use Our Bible Tabs

Bible Tabs are an amazing tool to help your kids learn where to find each book of the Bible! We’ll show you how to use them in the video below.

What You Need to Get Started

  • Your Bible
  • Bible Tabs
  • Ruler
  • Pencil

How to Put the Bible Tabs in Your Child’s Bible

  1. Gather your supplies.
  2. Measure to find out how many tabs you can fit along the length of a page (usually 5).
  3. Start by finding the first page of Genesis.
  4. Make certain that you only have one page!
  5. Place the first tab sticker starting at the top of the page.
  6. Turn to the next book of the Bible and use the ruler and pencil mark the placement for your next Bible tab. Then put the tab in place.
  7. Continue working through the Bible, placing the tabs in each book as you go.
  8. When your tabs have reached the lowest part of the page, start the next book of the Bible at the top again!

NOTE: Remember to make sure that your genre name and Book of the Bible face the same way for each tab you place!

Did you Know?

Each Bible tab notes one book of the Bible and its literary genre. All the books in the same genre are color-coded to match each other! These Bible tabs not only help your kids remember where each book of the Bible is but also show them connections between them as they grow in the knowledge of God’s Word!
