Easy Peeps Games Your Family Will Love
Last week we had a blast with the Easter Egg Family Fun Night. In the spirit of spring, I thought some Peeps games would be in order. You know them, those little colorful marshmallow treats that fill the aisles at Easter. As a kid, Peeps were always a springtime favorite! So go grab a few boxes and let’s have some fun!
Our Favorite Peeps Games
1. Angry Peeps—>
All you need for this game is a box of Peeps, an empty egg carton, some plastic eggs, and something to sling your Peeps with. We used the sling out of my son’s Angry Birds: Knock on Wood Game. (But you could use a paddle like the one in the Peep Toss game below.)
To make the game more difficult, simply stack more eggs on top of each other. We gave one point for every egg part that was knocked over and 2 points for every Peep. Of course, an extra 10 points were given if all the pieces were knocked off.
2. Peep in Your Face—>
For this game all you need is a box of Peeps and plate. To play, all players must put their hands behind their backs and completely consumed their Peep. The game seems super easy, but it took my kids several rounds before they got the hang of it. If you have older kids, you could give them a plate of several Peeps and see who could eat the most in 1 minute. Since I have little guys, I didn’t want to trust them not to choke to death, so I stuck with one at a time.
3. Peeps Stack Game —>
For this game, you need a box of Peeps, a plate and a timer. Each player has 1 minute to stack as many Peeps as possible. There is a skill to this game and the stack and get quite high if you think about how you stagger them. My kids had a blast “engineering” their stack before the 1 minute sounded. We use the printable to record our scores.
4. Peeps Toss Game —>
To play this game you need a pack of Peeps, something to “toss” them with (like this paddle that I purchased at Wal-mart for $1), and something to “toss” the Peeps into. I used the plastic egg plates that we use to dye eggs. You could also use a basket or egg dying cups. I’m all about using whatever you have around the house!
The game is so fun. How many Peeps can you toss into the holes? It’s surprisingly more difficult that it looks! You can time each player or give them a designated amount of Peeps to toss.
5. Peeps Jousting Game —>
You might have seen this activity floating around on the internet. It seems that it has amused many. Typically, you fight with just 2 Peeps, but I thought it would be fun to let each of the kids have a contender.
Once you set up the Peeps and their jousting sticks (toothpicks), simply place them in the microwave and watch them fight. The Peep with his stick on top, is the winner! This Peeps game is sure to cause cheers and shouts with your kids.

Hey Kim! We did this some years back with the family and had a blast! I’m hoping to put together a last min Peeps night with our homeschool group! I was thinking with the peeps stacking, we might use toothpicks to add more structure 🙂 I’ll post on fb and tag you if it works out!
