Visit our Sibling Rivalry Help Center for more sibling resources.

I’m always looking for gifts for siblings that will help foster a loving relationship. I love practical gifts that do much more than add to the giant pile of clutter we find in our kids’ rooms. I want adventure, exploration, and meaning.

GIFTS SHOULD ADD TO KIDS LIVES…

NOT TAKE AWAY OR OVERSTUFF THEM!

The best gifts educate…

stimulate their minds…

and grow them into amazing adults.

THE BEST GIFTS COMPEL, INSPIRE, AND CULTIVATE.

So when it comes to your children, why not buy gifts for siblings that will encourage and cultivate a relationship full of brother and sister love? Let’s face it, conquering sibling fighting can be a daunting task and as parents, we need all of the tools we can get. Gifts are a great way to help!

Here are some of my favorite gifts for siblings!

Gifts for Siblings: Ideas that Grow Sibling Relationships

#1 Sibling Challenge Journal

The Sibling Challenge Journal is my favorite new resource! The goal of this journal is to help kids apply the things they are learning about sibling relationships.

There are 5 sections: My Job as a Sibling, Sibling Scripture, Journaling pages to help kids process their struggles, the Sibling Challenge section and the Resource pages.

Once kids have reviewed their job as a sibling, they are challenged each week to commit acts of kindness toward their siblings. The Sibling Challenge section has 36 weekly checklists chocked full of ideas. It also gives kids space to journal about the week.

You’ll love both the teaching and accountability of this super fun gift!

#2 Sibling Arm Bands

We all need a reminder to do the right thing, that’s why I love these Sibling Arm Bands. Each time your kids look down they will read “Keep calm and love your siblings.” It’s not a magic bracelet, but it sure goes a long way in helping remind kids to stay focused on God’s way of treating their siblings.

They are flexible, easy to clean, and of course, they come in a rainbow of colors. It’s the perfect gift for any age sibling.

#3 Sibling T-Shirt

Every mom wants a photo-op of her kiddos in matching shirts, but this super soft tee goes way beyond that. True, it’s cute for sibling photo sessions, but it’s also a great reminder of God’s truth regarding siblings.

We want to help our kids fight the message the world sends. Siblings aren’t made for fighting. They are born to help you!

I love that my kids can both witness to others with these shirts and remind themselves. You’ll love these sibling shirts, too.

#4 My Brother’s Keeper Bible Study

By far our most beloved product, My Brother’s Keeper is a 4-week in-depth Bible study on the subject of sibling relationships. We will explore the stories of 10 different siblings from the Bible, some with beautiful stories and some with ugly ones. Through the stories of these siblings and the pages of Scripture, your children will learn God’s true purpose for siblings and families, the issues that siblings face, the responsibilities that they have as siblings, and practical tools for resolving the inevitable conflicts.

Coupled with the sibling arm bands and the sibling shirts, the study makes a super fun gift. Of course, we’ve bundled it together to help you save money, too!

#5 Walkie-Talkies

If you have younger kids, Walkie-Talkies are the perfect gifts for siblings! Kids love to communicate with one another from another room. This set has great reviews raving about their reception and durability, making it the perfect pair.

Walkie-Talkies are a super fun way to foster good communication between siblings when they don’t even realize you’re doing it!

#6 Sibling Necklaces

When I saw these sibling necklaces I was instantly smitten. What girl doesn’t love a necklace she can share with someone she loves? I remember adoring these as a little girl and sharing them with many friends. While friends are important, our siblings should be at the top of the list.

Have more or less than 3 kids? You’ll also find sibling bracelets and necklaces in different combinations! The more you send the message of how important the sibling relationship is, the more your kids will begin to adopt it. I think jewelry is a beautiful way to do that!

#7 Beat the Parents board game

When I first saw this game I was reminded of the time I took the kids for our first ever laser tag game. As soon as the lights went down, it was 7 very long minutes of torture. I felt like I was under constant attack and couldn’t do anything to win. Every second my “shield was down” because someone else had hit me.

After the game was over the kids confessed to ganging up on me in an effort to beat me. They had been planning it for days. It was a good laugh and one for the memory books for sure. Although my super competitive spirit was wounded, I was proud of their teamwork and camaraderie.

Beat the Parents promises that same experience. Kids have no choice but to find a way to get along so they can beat their parents. It’s a win-win for everyone. Of course, any board game is a great gift for siblings, but this one is a favorite.

#8 Play Fort

My fondest memory of my sister is playing school bus. She would find all of the chairs in the house and line them up in rows so we could all ride. Sitting next to a teddy bear, I’d “bounce” along as she pressed and punched the buttons on her cardboard box bus.

There’s just something about building things and exploring with your imagination that bonds siblings together. That’s what I love about the Play Fort.  You get both of those in a kit. (It’s like pressing the easy button, but still getting the same benefits!)

Imagine the places your kiddos will explore together in this ever-changing fort set-up!

Life-giving Words

What an encouragement your words have been to me! The practical tips and realistic systems that you share are so super helpful, but what I have appreciated the most has been your genuine heart for the Lord and for the things of the Lord. What I sense through your words is a heart submitted to the Lord, clinging to Him instead of to bitterness. Walking a path that you never signed up for, painfully aware of your brokenness and inadequacies, but keeping your eyes focused on the only Giver of Life. You have a testimony of victory, of overcoming, Kim. Your life-giving words boast of the faithfulness of a God who hears and sees and knows and provides and comforts. A God who doesn't change.

Brings courage to my heart

I want to thank you for your transparency and dedication to blessing families with resources. Thank you for the life giving words that I read over and over. I cling to the hope I see in your story. Not only did you help me work through things that had happened, you prepared me for a situation that could have consumed me. God used your encouragement to strengthen me. I was so beaten down, discouraged, and tired from the long and difficult path I had been walking. It was a refreshing rain in the middle of a weary road, and it made me hope for a future that is victorious.

Love everything you do!

As far as the other things, I LOVE my brothers keeper and we've done it twice over the past year or two. I recommend it all the time on so many groups online. I type notconsumed.com almost daily somewhere on something. At times I will come across another resource you have created and it's like you are in my head. So much of what you create is exactly what I want but am not techy enough to do! I had googled a checklist for homeschooling recently and yours popped up. It was exactly the simple thing I wanted. I told my husband that you "get me" when I found it. :) I ended up buying it then hearing about the course and did that too. Even as a veteran homeschool mom I learned a few things from your course. I really love how you foster independence in your kids in stages. Again, exactly what I want to do!
