I’ve always wanted a mentor. Ya know, the godly woman I could text or call for encouragement any time I needed it. I long to have that relationship where we get together and have coffee or lunch and just talk about God. But so far, that just hasn’t happened.
And I know I’m not alone. Many women, especially single moms, have expressed feeling the same way. It’s hard to make time for these relationships in our crazy busy culture. And most single moms struggle with getting a sitter, having the money to drink that cup of coffee, and truly, just having the energy to do it all.
I’ve got to admit that it may sound crazy, but that’s why I am thankful for this online community. I do get a good bit of encouragement right here on my own blog. Trust me, it’s a really good thing to preach to yourself (which I am totally doing at least 99% of the time). Plus I have the added benefit of so many beautiful readers who email with prayer and encouragement.
And most of all, I enjoy encouraging all of you when you need it. In fact, I can’t wait to tell you about this totally FREE gift that I have for you today!
